I have two separate shoots that need to become polished 2–3-minute pieces with a consistent, cinematic feel.
Project 1 – Vlog
All clips were shot in auto. I need you to locate the take with the cleanest in-camera audio, clean it up, sync wherever necessary, then mix and level it so the performance sounds as strong as it looks. Colour-grade the footage so it feels rich and purposeful rather than straight-out-of-camera.
Project 2 – Live Band
This one was captured in 10-bit D-Log-M. You’ll need to build a proper colour pipeline—convert the log footage, balance exposure, then craft a stylised grade that matches the first film but still suits the material.
General guidance
• Edit style: cinematic pacing, motivated cuts, light use of motion graphics or titles where it enhances the story.
• Scene selection: please watch everything and decide what serves each story best; I’m happy to trust your editorial eye.
• Audio: apart from the band performance, add tasteful ambience, SFX or subtle transitions only if it helps immersion.
• Tools: DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro or Final Cut are all fine as long as you can deliver a high-quality 4K master and a ready-to-share 1080p H.264 file for each video.
Deliverables
1. Two fully graded and mixed 2–3-minute films in 4K ProRes (or equivalent) and 1080p H.264.
2. Final project files and LUTs or adjustment layers used, so I can tweak later if needed.
3. A short change window for any minor tweaks once I review.
If this brief is clear and the scope feels comfortable, let me know your estimated turnaround time and any questions you have about the footage. Looking forward to seeing how you shape these stories.
