E-Commerce Website Build with Payments

I need a functional e-commerce website where customers can browse my physical products, add items to a shopping cart, and complete checkout through a secure online payment gateway. The site’s sole purpose is to sell tangible goods that will be shipped to buyers, so the flow from product page to payment confirmation must feel seamless on both desktop and mobile.

Core scope
• Design and develop the storefront, product listings, and responsive layouts.
• Implement a shopping cart that updates in real time and feeds smoothly into checkout.
• Integrate online payment (credit/debit cards plus at least one alternative such as PayPal or Stripe) with clear success and failure handling.
• Provide an easy-to-use admin area for adding products, adjusting inventory, viewing orders, and exporting basic sales data.

Acceptance criteria
• Customers can add, edit, and remove products from the cart without page reloads.
• The payment gateway processes test transactions successfully in sandbox mode and live transactions once we switch to production.
• Order details reach both the customer’s email and the admin panel instantly after payment clears.
• Pages load quickly and pass standard security checks (HTTPS, PCI-compliant payment flow).

Assets such as logos, product images, and copy are ready to supply. Development can happen on your staging server; I’ll provide domain and hosting credentials when we move to production. Once finished, hand over all source files and instructions for routine maintenance so I can manage the store long term.
