I need a complete e-commerce website built from scratch, focused on clean design and a smooth shopping-cart experience. The core requirements are a fully responsive storefront, product catalogue, and a reliable add-to-cart / update-cart flow that works flawlessly on desktop and mobile.
Feel free to choose the framework or stack you are most comfortable with—whether that’s a modern JavaScript library, a Python-based back-end, or a lightweight PHP solution—as long as page speed and maintainability stay top of mind. I’m happy to discuss options like React, Django, Laravel, or pure HTML/CSS/JS if they suit the project.
Key deliverables
• Home, product-listing, product-detail, cart, and checkout pages
• Simple admin area to add / edit products, images, and pricing
• Responsive UI tested across major browsers
• Clear documentation on how to deploy and update the site
A payment gateway and user-review section may be added later, so structuring the code for easy expansion is a plus. Clean Git commits and regular progress updates will help us stay on schedule. If this sounds like a fit, tell me briefly how you’d approach the build, what tools you’d pick, and an estimated timeline for first release.
