I’m giving my online store a fresh face and need a frontend specialist to re-imagine the homepage layout while the rest of the site stays intact. The goal is a modern, mobile-first experience that loads fast, guides shoppers smoothly into product categories, and keeps our current branding consistent.
You’ll start from the existing codebase, identify UI/UX pain points, then deliver a pixel-perfect, responsive homepage that plugs straight back into our platform with minimal disruption. Clean, well-commented HTML/CSS/JavaScript is fine; if you prefer React or another framework, let me know—what matters most is maintainable code and noticeable performance gains.
Key deliverables:
• High-fidelity mock-up of the new homepage (Figma, XD, or similar)
• Fully coded, responsive homepage integrated into the current site
• Cross-browser and accessibility testing report
• Brief hand-off document outlining file structure and future-proofing notes
Acceptance criteria:
• Loads in under 2 s on mobile 4G
• Passes WCAG 2.1 AA for contrast and keyboard navigation
• No console errors or layout shifts in latest Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge
• Matches approved mock-up at 98 %+ accuracy (using a diff tool such as PixelPerfect)
If this sounds like your kind of challenge, tell me how you’d approach it and share a couple of live e-commerce pages you’ve recently polished.
