Project Title:
Build a Dynamic Flooring Sales & Quoting Web App (Roomvo + CRM + Manual Plan Review)
SECTION 1: PROJECT OVERVIEW

I need a fully functional, mobile-first web application (a standalone "messaging link" / microsite) for a flooring sales environment.

The primary goal: When a sales rep sends this link to a potential client, the client can browse our entire product catalog (via Roomvo 3D visualization), select products, get a dynamic/tiered price, and generate a formal quote—all without needing a site visit.

If they know their square footage, they type it in. If they don't, they can upload their floor plan (which our team reviews manually in the admin panel) or schedule a professional measurement.

Upon completion, they receive a green checkmark confirmation, an emailed quote, and a gallery of past jobs to build trust.

Critical Note: This project does NOT include AI/auto-measurement of floor plans. Uploaded plans are stored for manual human review only.
SECTION 2: CORE USER FLOW (STEP-BY-STEP)

The freelancer must build the following exact user journey:

Step 1: Landing Page

Client clicks the unique link. A clean hero section prompts them to "Start Your Project".

Step 2: Product Selection

Browse/filter products (style, material, color, price range).

Each product has a "Visualize in my room" button (powered by Roomvo SDK) and an "Add to Quote" button.

Show real-time stock levels with scarcity messaging (e.g., "Only 5 units left").

Step 3: Measurement Input (Manual Processing - NO AI)
After selecting products, the user sees three clear options:

Option A: "Enter square footage manually" (simple numeric input field). Instant quote generation.

Option B: "Upload your floor plan" (supports JPG, PNG, PDF).

The system saves the file to cloud storage.

A message appears: "We've received your plan! Our team will verify your measurements and send a finalized quote to your email within 24 hours."

The admin receives an alert in the dashboard.

Option C: "Schedule a professional measurement" (integrates with Calendly or a date/time picker that saves to the CRM).

Step 4: Dynamic Quote Generation

If they choose Option A, the quote generates instantly based on their typed square footage.

If they choose Option B or C, the system saves the lead and does not generate a final quote until the admin manually inputs the measurements later.

The pricing engine calculates costs based on: Base price + square footage + customer tier (passed via URL parameter like ?rep=john&tier=wholesale).

Display the estimated installation timeline (e.g., "3–5 business days") based on total square footage and product type.

Step 5: Green Checkmark Confirmation

After submission, show a large animated green checkmark with a confirmation message.

If instant quote: "Your quote is ready! We'll send it to your email shortly." (Send PDF email immediately).

If uploaded plan/schedule: "Your request is received! Check your email for the next steps." (Send confirmation email).

Step 6: Past Jobs Gallery

Below the checkmark, display a carousel of 6–10 completed projects with photos, short descriptions, and client ratings (this acts as final social proof).

SECTION 3: BEHAVIORAL PSYCHOLOGY FEATURES

To maximize engagement and lead conversion, integrate these specific psychological triggers:

Progress Tracking: A step-by-step wizard at the top (Step 1: Product → Step 2: Measure → Step 3: Quote → Step 4: Confirm).

Scarcity: Display "Only X units left in stock" on product pages (pulled from inventory data).

Urgency Timer: Show a countdown timer on the quote page (e.g., "This price expires in 24:00:00").

Social Proof Banner: A small floating banner saying "12 people are viewing this product right now" (use randomized/realistic numbers).

Loss Aversion: When the green checkmark appears, include text like "Your personalized quote has been secured—save it before it expires!"

Anchoring: Show the original price crossed out next to the discounted price when applicable.

SECTION 4: TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Frontend

React.js or Next.js (must be fully responsive for mobile, tablet, and desktop).

Must have a clean, modern UI focused on conversion.

Backend

Node.js (Express) or Python (Django/Flask).

Database

PostgreSQL or MongoDB.

File Storage

Must integrate with AWS S3 or Cloudinary to securely store uploaded floor plans.

The system should generate a unique filename for each upload (e.g., userID_timestamp_floorplan.pdf).

Store the secure file URL in the database linked to the user's lead record.

Hosting

Must be deployable on Vercel/Netlify (frontend) and AWS/Heroku (backend). Provide clear deployment instructions.

Roomvo Integration

Embed the Roomvo 3D visualization SDK on product pages.

Sync my proprietary product catalog with Roomvo's catalog via their API.

Capture the ffvisitorid (first-party cookie) to track user behavior and pass it back to my CRM.

Pricing Engine

A rule-based system where prices adjust dynamically based on:

URL parameters (e.g., ?rep=john&tier=wholesale).

Total square footage entered.

Active promo codes (if any).

CRM & Analytics

Webhook integration to send all lead data (name, email, phone, selected products, uploaded file URL, quote amount) to HubSpot or Salesforce.

Install Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Hotjar for heatmaps/session recordings.

Custom event tracking for: product clicks, time spent on each step, bounce rates, and Roomvo usage.

SECTION 5: ADMIN DASHBOARD (BACKEND)

Build a password-protected admin panel where I can:

Product Management

Add/Edit/Delete products (with images, descriptions, base prices, stock levels).

Pricing Rules

Set pricing rules/tiers (e.g., Retail markup = 40%, Trade markup = 15%, Promo = -10%).

Manual Plan Review Queue (CRITICAL FEATURE)

View a dedicated queue titled "Pending Manual Measurements".

It must show: Client's name, contact info, the uploaded file (with a download button), and the date submitted.

There must be an input box for the Admin to manually type in the correct square footage.

A button labeled: "Approve & Send Final Quote".

When clicked, the system recalculates the quote based on the admin's entered number and triggers the final PDF quote email to the client (linking this action back to the original user session).

Lead Management

View all submitted leads with timestamps, source link, full quote details, and status (Pending / Quoted / Closed).

Basic Analytics

View total visits, conversion rate, average time on site, and bounce rate.

SECTION 6: EXCLUSIONS (READ CAREFULLY)

To keep the scope manageable and avoid miscommunication:

NO AI/Auto-Measurement: I do NOT want any machine learning, computer vision, or automated floor-plan parsing. Uploaded floor plans are simply stored for manual human review via the admin dashboard. Do not attempt to automate measurement extraction.

NO Mobile Apps: This is a web application only (no iOS/Android native apps).

NO Payment Gateway: This is a lead generation and quoting tool. We do NOT collect credit card payments online.

SECTION 7: DELIVERABLES

Upon project completion, I expect:

Full source code (frontend + backend) delivered via a private GitHub repository with full access granted to me.

Clear technical documentation (README file with setup instructions, environment variables, and deployment steps).

A 15-minute video walkthrough explaining the architecture, how to manage products/pricing, and how to process manual plan uploads in the admin panel.

30 days of post-launch bug-fixing support (minor fixes only, excluding new features).

SECTION 8: BUDGET & TIMELINE

Budget Range: I am looking for competitive bids in the $13,000 – $35,000 USD range, depending on experience, portfolio quality, and proposed timeline.

Timeline: Please provide your estimated completion time. I am looking for delivery within 8–12 weeks. Faster delivery with quality assurance will be viewed favorably.

(Note: Freelancer.com charges a 3% platform fee on the client side. Please factor this into your bidding consideration.)
SECTION 9: MANDATORY QUESTIONS FOR BIDDERS

Portfolio Proof: Can you provide 2 live links to previous React/Next.js web applications you have built that involve third-party API integrations (e.g., payment, CRM, visualization tools, or file uploads)?

Manual Upload Workflow: How would you handle the "Upload Floor Plan" feature? Specifically, how would you upload the file to cloud storage (e.g., AWS S3), save the secure URL to the database, and design the admin queue so that an admin can view the file, manually input the square footage, and hit "Approve" to trigger the final automated quote email?

Tech Stack Justification: What is your specific tech stack for this project (frontend framework, backend language, database), and why did you choose it over other alternatives for this specific use case?

SECTION 10: HOW TO APPLY

Place your bid with a clear breakdown of costs (development, testing, and deployment).

Include your estimated timeline in weeks.

Attach relevant portfolio items or case studies.

Do not bid if you cannot answer the mandatory questions above.
