I need a web-based product management platform whose key strength is an algorithm-based engine that will optimise how work is planned, assigned and re-scheduled. Rather than a traditional board where tasks are dragged around manually, the system should analyse incoming work, available resources and due dates, then apply proven optimisation algorithms to produce the most efficient allocation automatically.
Core flow
• Users create projects, break them into tasks and enter constraints such as priority, effort estimates and deadlines.
• The optimisation module processes those inputs in real time, suggesting the ideal task-to-resource schedule and continuously refining the plan as variables change.
• A clean dashboard lets the team visualise the algorithm’s output, accept or override recommendations and track progress.
Technology is flexible as long as it runs in a modern browser; a typical stack might be React or Vue for the interface and a Python (FastAPI) or Node.js back end where the optimisation logic lives, but I’m open to alternatives if they suit the purpose better.
Deliverables
1. A hosted MVP I can log into and test end-to-end.
2. Source code with clear documentation of the optimisation algorithms used and where to adjust parameters.
3. Brief user guide so my team can start loading real projects immediately.
Acceptance criteria
• When I add at least three team members, ten tasks with varying durations and two conflicting deadlines, the system must generate a feasible schedule in under five seconds.
• Manual overrides should trigger a recalculation without data loss.
• UI remains responsive on desktop and mobile.
If you have experience blending project-management workflows with optimisation algorithms, let’s get this built.
