Dublin Commercial Retrofit QS/PM

I’m looking for a Quantity Surveyor who can also step into a hands-on Project Manager role for a live commercial retrofit here in Dublin. The building is already standing; we’re stripping out and re-configuring internal spaces while the tenant stays operational, so tight coordination is critical.

Your core focus will be managing all subcontractors and suppliers on site—everything from agreeing scopes and rates to tracking daily progress, safety compliance and quality sign-off. I’ll handle overall finance approvals, but you’ll keep the cost and programme trackers updated, flag variances early and secure any change-order sign-offs with the client rep.

Because this is an occupied retrofit we need someone who can be physically present in Dublin for regular walk-throughs, weekly site meetings and quick problem-solving. Remote management simply won’t cut it.

Key deliverables
• On-site subcontractor & vendor coordination plan issued Day 1
• Fortnightly cost, programme and risk reports (Excel or similar)
• Change-order log kept current and signed by client within 48 hrs of submission
• Practical completion checklist verified against spec before hand-over
