Python Developer Needed for Small Process Automation Script

We are looking for a Python developer to develop a small automation script that can automate a repetitive manual business process.

Project Requirements:

- Develop a Python script to automate the defined workflow.
- Read and process data from Excel/CSV files.
- Perform basic data validation, cleaning, and transformation.
- Apply predefined rules/logic to the data.
- Generate an automated output file/report.
- Include basic error handling and clear comments in the code.
- The script should be easy to run and modify in the future.

The project is relatively small and should be straightforward for an experienced Python developer. We will provide the detailed workflow, input files, and expected output format to the selected freelancer.

Here is what I need from you:
• Help refining the sampling strategy and finalising the instruments (survey/interview protocol if needed).
• Guiding or executing the actual data collection, ensuring ethical standards and clean, well-structured data.
• Performing comprehensive statistical analysis (SPSS, R or Python are all acceptable) and delivering clear interpretation of the results linked back to my research questions.
• Supplying tidy datasets, code/output files, and a concise methods & results write-up that I can slot directly into the dissertation.

I will provide the existing proposal, research questions and any preliminary material as soon as we start. Regular check-ins over Zoom or Teams are preferred so we can align on progress and make quick adjustments if new insights emerge.
