Overview
As the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for managing and leading the FP&A Function for the Business Unit (BU) you would support. You will be responsible for leading a team of talented Financial professionals, focusing on developing, mentoring, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This Finance leader may oversee functions such as our Delivery Organization which oversees critical business functions including implementation services, support and advisory services for RealPage’s entire product portfolio.
Responsibilities
Manage the FP&A function for the entire Business Unit you are supporting including monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, adhoc analysis and strategic projects
Supervise, develop, and provide feedback and direction to direct reports, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Provide mentorship, training, and performance management to Finance staff.
Significantly improve the analytics and telemetry for this function to identify efficiency and productivity drivers while helping the organization to continually improve operating leverage
Own and drive the backlog reporting across the company, helping the Implementations Organization prioritize product activation, while maximizing revenue outcomes. Build public company & GAAP compliant management reporting
Own the capacity modeling for all the Delivery teams. This will include owning and maintaining complex financial models for monthly forecasting and annual budgeting. This may expand to include capacity model across other non-Delivery functions as well
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
10+ years of progressive Finance experience
Prior background supporting a Delivery or Services Org is ideal
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Required:
Extensive experience building and maintaining complex finance models
Experience in building sophisticated dashboards and KPIs
Management experience leading teams in prior two career roles
Experience in supporting senior business leadership at the VP level or above
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
High level of integrity and trustworthiness, able to handle sensitive and confidential information
Ability to effectively present information to C-Suite Leaders
Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills required
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Self-Starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must have the ability to operate a personal computer and express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word. May be required to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
