I need my Dell PowerEdge XE7740 completely reworked so it is ready to host several KVM virtual machines under Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.5. The OS is already licensed, but the current configuration is messy and not tuned for virtualization. Your job is to start fresh if needed, apply best-practice firmware, RAID, and network settings, install a clean RHEL 9.5 image, and then build a production-ready KVM stack using standard Red Hat tooling (libvirt, virt-install, Cockpit-machines, etc.).

Once the hypervisor layer is solid, I’ll need at least one templated guest VM created so I can rapidly clone additional machines later. Please harden the host, enable proper SELinux and firewalld rules, and document any tuning you apply to optimize CPU, NUMA, memory, NVMe, and GPU passthrough (the box has NVIDIA cards that may be assigned to certain guests later on).

Deliverables:
• Fully patched RHEL 9.5 host with KVM, libvirt, and Cockpit configured
• Verified hardware virtualization (VT-x/AMD-V, SR-IOV, IOMMU) and BIOS/firmware alignment
• One golden CentOS Stream 9 or RHEL-based guest image prepared with cloud-init
• Clear README detailing every step and command used so I can reproduce the build

Please let me know your approach and the approximate timeframe you’ll need once you have remote iDRAC or on-site access.
