I need a qualified geotechnical engineer to perform a full stability assessment on an existing cut slope. The site has already been cleared and surveyed; what I now require is your technical evaluation of its short- and long-term safety, complete with factor-of-safety calculations, sensitivity checks, and clear recommendations.
Your scope will include reviewing the available borehole logs and laboratory data, selecting an appropriate limit-equilibrium or numerical modelling approach (e.g., SLOPE/W, PLAXIS, or equivalent), running the analyses for both drained and undrained conditions, and preparing a concise report that I can forward to the civil contractor and local authorities.
Deliverables
• PDF report summarising methods, input parameters, factors of safety, and conclusions
• Native model files and any spreadsheets used
• One-page executive summary with recommended mitigation, if required
