I need a developer who can architect and build a bespoke content-management system that lets an Admin securely log in, add or update product records, and publish them to a responsive front-end. Although only the Admin role will use the interface at launch, the permission model must already support limited, section-based access so I can introduce Editors or other roles later without code rewrites.
Core features I expect from day one include:
• Secure authentication, password hashing, and session handling
• Intuitive dashboard with product listing, search, filters, and bulk actions
• CRUD screens for products, categories, and static pages, each with SEO fields
• Drag-and-drop or multiselect image/file uploads, stored efficiently
• Modular user/role layer ready for granular permissions
• Clean database schema and migration scripts
• Front-end that adapts gracefully to mobile and desktop
• Server-side validation, sanitisation, and basic rate-limiting for security
• Performance-minded code (caching, lazy loading, minification)
• Automated tests and staged deployment pipeline
In your reply, please outline:
1. The tech stack you recommend (framework, database, hosting environment) and why it suits a product-centric CMS.
2. Two or three CMS projects you have shipped that demonstrate similar complexity.
3. A realistic development timeline, broken into milestones.
4. Your fixed-price quote or a milestone-based estimate.
Clean, well-documented code is a must as the project will be maintained internally after launch. I’m ready to move forward as soon as we agree on scope and schedule.
