Custom Task Tracking Workflow System

I want a lightweight, web-based tool that helps me stay on top of project tasks from start to finish. The core of the system is a clean LIST VIEW where I can: • create and assign tasks to specific team members, • set due dates with automatic reminders, and • record quick progress updates that are easy to scan at a glance. If a task changes hands or a deadline shifts, editing should be frictionless and instantly reflected for everyone. I do not need Kanban columns or a full Gantt timeline—just a fast, searchable list that can be filtered by assignee, status, or due date. A straightforward dashboard, email or in-app notifications, and the ability to export data (CSV or similar) would round things out nicely. I’m open to the underlying stack as long as it’s reliable and easy to maintain; common options like React + Node, Django, or even a no-code platform with custom scripting are all on the table. Additionally, I’d like the system to integrate with Microsoft Lists for task tracking and management. Deliverable: a working prototype deployed to a test server, along with source code and brief setup documentation so I can host it myself later.
