I’m building a social networking app from the ground up and need an experienced Android developer to turn the concept into a polished, production-ready product. The core experience revolves around three pillars: rich user profiles, a real-time messaging system, and a dynamic news feed. Each of these must work seamlessly together so users feel the flow of a modern social platform from first launch to daily use.

Design is important to me. Rather than relying on stock components, I want a custom look with unique graphics that reinforces the brand identity we’ll define together. Screens should scale gracefully across phone and tablet sizes, with smooth transitions and snappy performance.

You’ll code in Kotlin within Android Studio and lean on Firebase for authentication, data storage, and push notifications. Clean architecture, logical package structure, and clear in-code comments are expected so the project remains maintainable. API endpoints for supplementary services can be wired in where necessary, and standard forms (sign-up, profile editing, content posting) must be secure and intuitive.

Deliverables
• Complete Android Studio project with well-documented Kotlin source
• Release-ready and debug APKs that install and run without crashes on Android 7–14
• README or short setup guide so another developer can build and deploy the app in minutes

I’ll review by installing the APK, signing up, posting to the news feed, exchanging messages between test accounts, and browsing profiles. If everything feels fluid, visuals match the approved mock-ups, and no critical errors appear in Logcat, we’re good to close the project. I’m ready to start as soon as you are.
