Custom Dispatch Management Upgrade

I already run a home-grown application that covers billing, inventory and dispatch, but the dispatch side has outgrown the codebase. I now need a cleaner, faster module that removes every remaining manual step and speaks fluently with the rest of the stack.

Here is what I want to achieve:

• One-screen job board where orders move from “Ready to Ship” through to “Delivered”, with live status and search
• Instant label and PDF invoice generation (print and email) pulled from our existing product, customer and stock tables
• Auto-allocation of stock on dispatch, with alerts for low inventory
• Simple reporting: daily dispatch summary, courier cost breakdown, late-delivery log

My current platform is a custom application written in C# with a SQL back end, so you will be extending rather than replacing it. If you prefer to re-architect a microservice that exposes REST endpoints instead, I’m open to that discussion as long as integration is seamless for users.

Please respond with concrete experience on similar dispatch or logistics modules—screenshots or repo snippets are welcome. I’m keen to see how you have handled status flows, PDF generation (iTextSharp, FastReport, etc.) and stock synchronisation in past projects. No need for a full proposal at this stage; evidence of relevant work and a short outline of your intended approach will be enough for us to jump on a quick call and dive into the details.
