I have a few ideas for unique car accessories but no sketches or CAD work yet, so I need someone who can guide the entire creative process—from brainstorming concepts through to final, print-ready files. You’ll be designing mechanical-style pieces that must stand up to daily automotive use and fit the constraints of a typical desktop FDM printer.
What I need from you
• Help shaping the concepts into practical, aesthetically pleasing parts
• Full 3D modeling in a parametric package such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar
• Print-ready STL files plus the editable source (STEP or native CAD)
• Designs optimized for common materials (PLA, PETG, ABS) and a 220 mm × 220 mm build plate
• Split parts and clear assembly instructions when a design exceeds that envelope
Acceptance criteria
• Parts assemble cleanly on the first print, with tolerances appropriate for automotive vibration
• Surfaces face the correct orientation to minimize supports and post-processing
• File names and revisions are organized so I can re-slice quickly for different materials
If you have experience creating functional vehicle parts—interior organizers, exterior trim, or mounting brackets—you’ll be a perfect fit. Share samples that prove printability and real-world durability, and tell me how you normally validate tolerances before release. I’m ready to start as soon as we agree on an initial concept.
