Cross Platform Test Series App

I’m building a mobile learning environment where students can sit for structured test series and access supporting study material. The app must run natively on both Android and iOS, with the entire user journey centred on clear, intuitive navigation and smooth performance.
Core testing flow
• Two distinct test modes:
– Practice Mode: students may retake a paper unlimited times and view instant scoring.
– Live Mode: a scheduled exam that opens simultaneously for every registered student and can be taken only once. When the countdown reaches zero, the test locks automatically.
Study-material delivery
At launch I will share PDFs only, so the admin area needs a quick upload tool and an in-app PDF reader. (The structure should be flexible enough to add video or audio later.)
User limits and security
Each account must bind to a maximum of two devices. If a third login is attempted the oldest device should log out automatically. Please incorporate best-practice security for the question bank and PDFs so content cannot be casually copied.
Interface expectations
A premium, glitch-free look and feel is essential—clean typography, crisp icons, responsive animations and zero lag even on mid-range phones. The design focus is user-friendliness; visual polish should never get in the way of speed.
Administration & analytics
I’ll need a web-based dashboard (or an in-app admin section) to:
• Create/edit question sets, schedule Live tests and publish them in one click
• Upload PDFs with tagging and expiry controls
• View real-time participation stats and performance analytics
• Push notifications (exam reminders, new PDFs, result releases)
Post-development support
After store deployment I will rely on you for ongoing maintenance, quick bug fixes and small feature tweaks. Please outline the support window you can include and any extended-support options.
Deliverables
1. Source code for Android and iOS (React Native, Flutter or comparable cross-platform stack—open to your recommendation)
2. Compiled release builds ready for Google Play and the App Store
3. Admin dashboard with deployment instructions
4. Technical documentation and API keys list
5. Post-launch support agreement
If everything above matches your skill set, let’s move forward with a timeline, milestone plan and toolchain proposal.
