About the Role
We’re looking for a creative and trend-aware Video Editor who understands modern Instagram content — especially fast-paced, engaging, high-retention reels.
Your main responsibility will be editing short-form videos that feel native to Instagram trends while maintaining a clean and premium brand identity.

If you naturally notice trending edits, hooks, transitions, captions, pacing, memes, sound usage, and viral reel formats before others do — this role is for you.

Responsibilities
Edit high-quality Instagram reels, ads, and short-form content
Create scroll-stopping edits with strong hooks and retention-focused pacing
Stay updated with current Instagram and short-form video trends
Add captions, transitions, motion graphics, sound effects, and trending audio creatively
Work closely with the social media and marketing team on content strategy
Maintain a consistent visual style aligned with the brand
Deliver edits within deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently

Requirements
1+ year experience in reel editing / short-form content editing
Strong understanding of Instagram trends and viral content formats

Proficiency in:
Adobe Premiere Pro
After Effects
CapCut / VN / similar fast-editing tools
Good sense of timing, storytelling, hooks, and audience retention
Experience with motion graphics and animated captions is a plus
Ability to think creatively and suggest content ideas, not just edit
Understanding of social media algorithms and content performance

Bonus Points If You:
Have edited content for SaaS, tech, AI, startups, or agencies
Understand modern “human-first” editing styles used by fast-growing brands
Can create thumbnail concepts and basic design assets
Follow creators and brands known for high-performing reels
