My civil trial is set to run downtown Houston, Texas every weekday for roughly one or two weeks starting September 28 or October 1, 2026, and each morning I have to get 3 or 4 bankers’ boxes of pleadings, binders, exhibits, and a rolling laptop case to the courthouse together with me. I need someone who can handle that daily logistics cycle—loading at my downtown or greenway plaza area hotel at 7:00 a.m., driving to the courthouse to drop me off, park across the street, and unload, hauling that stuff thru the court house security and setting it up on counsel table in the court room, and then repeating the process when court adjourns.
Once inside you will stay through the proceedings and operate the digital exhibits for me. The judge allows a single HDMI feed to the monitors, so you will control the laptop, cue up PDFs, or a few audio files, and switch smoothly between them on request. You don't need any specific software knowledge, just click on a numbered PDF or audio file as called for by me nd then scroll through it and zoom in as instructed. During breaks you will keep the counsel table organized so nothing is misplaced and opposing counsel is not pilfering thru my files. You will have a lunch break and there is a cafeteria in the court building.
Success looks like this: I arrive relaxed, every document arrives unscathed, exhibits appear instantly when requested, and we exit with the same completeness we entered. Daily reliability, careful handling of privileged material, and a calm presence under pressure are essential. Dependability is the biggest requirement. I must arrive on time with my stuff 5 days in a row. There will be a bonus for that result and I'll pay an additional mileage fee and parking cost if we use your car instead of mine to go to the courthouse and park. Since I will have my car at the hotel we could use it to drive over to the courthouse and park and in that case you could have someone drop you off there and pick you back up after work, either way is fine as long as it is 100% DEPENDABLE..
