Corporate Event AV & LED Specialist

I run a growing SMME that produces corporate functions ranging from board-room briefings to large product launches, and I need an experienced AV technician who can take full ownership of our visual displays. For these events the showpiece is always the LED screen: slick motion graphics, live camera relay, and crystal-clear presentations that keep executives impressed and clients happy.

Your role starts with pre-event planning—advising on screen size, pixel pitch and rigging points—then moves to on-site setup, signal routing and real-time operation on show day. I already have general AV crew in place, so I’m specifically after someone who can step in as the LED specialist, comfortable with processors such as NovaStar, Brompton or similar, and able to work alongside our content team running PowerPoint, Keynote or media servers without a hitch.

Deliverables I expect:
• A fully calibrated LED screen installed to spec, with zero dead pixels and colour-balanced across all panels.
• Seamless switching between presentation decks, video playback and camera feeds during the show.
• A tidy breakdown and repack, plus a brief handover report on any issues and recommended improvements.
