Convert Scans into Editable Text

I have a batch of scanned documents that I need turned into clean, editable text files. Accuracy is far more important to me than speed, so every page must be carefully transcribed or run through reliable OCR software and then proof-read to remove any stray errors, formatting glitches, or unreadable characters.

You’re free to use whichever approach—manual typing, OCR tools like ABBYY or Tesseract, or a mix of both—delivers the most faithful result. Paragraph breaks, headings, and any simple tables should match the original layout; I don’t need elaborate styling, just a clear, well-structured text document (Word or plain TXT is fine).

Deliverables
• One text file per scanned document, fully proof-read and ready to use
• A brief note outlining which method you used and any pages that required special attention
