Comprehensive Quantity Surveying Services

I need an experienced quantity surveyor who can look after three core areas for me: cost estimation and planning, contract management and administration, and ongoing risk management. The assignments you will handle span every major construction setting I’m involved in—residential builds, commercial developments, and infrastructure works—so a flexible, well-rounded approach is essential.

Your cost plans must be built in CostX and supported by clear Microsoft Excel summaries that I can circulate to stakeholders. During the life of each project you will monitor variations, update cash-flow forecasts, prepare interim valuations, and keep a live risk register so potential cost or schedule threats are flagged early. On the contract side you’ll draft and issue documentation, track compliance, and manage claims or change orders right through to final account.

Key deliverables
• Fully measured and benchmarked CostX cost plan, with linked Excel report
• Contract administration log covering instructions, variations, and payment certificates
• Risk register with probability, impact, and mitigation notes, updated at agreed milestones

Acceptance criteria
• All figures traceable to source measurements or quoted rates
• Documents formatted for direct issue to lenders and project partners
• Updates delivered on the schedule we set at kick-off, with no more than a 48-hour turnaround on urgent queries
