Risk-Focused Internal Audit Support

I’m looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant who can step in and run an end-to-end internal audit with a clear emphasis on risk management. The organisation is mid-sized, the records are well kept, but we have never had a formal risk-oriented review, so I need fresh eyes to uncover control gaps and emerging threats before they become problems.

You will map existing processes, design and execute test procedures, and then translate the findings into plain-English recommendations that management can act on. I’ll provide full access to prior financial statements, ledgers (Tally ERP and Excel), and departmental heads for walkthroughs—what I need back is a concise, defensible risk assessment and a prioritized action plan.

Deliverables
• Audit program and fieldwork schedule
• Completed working papers with evidence of control testing
• Risk register ranking likelihood and impact
• Final report summarising key findings, root causes and remedial actions

Acceptance criteria: every significant risk must be supported by verifiable data or sample results, and recommendations should align with ICAI standards for internal audit.
