We are currently seeking a GCP Cloud Architect to join our team in Mexico
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions on GCP.
Lead cloud transformation and migration projects from assessment through deployment.
Define cloud architecture standards, governance, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams.
Drive cloud automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives.
Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to global teams and clients.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, Architecture, or Cloud Engineering.
Professional Google Cloud Architect Certification (required).
Strong hands-on experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
Expertise in:
Compute Engine
GKE & Containers
Cloud Networking (VPC, VPN, Load Balancing, DNS)
IAM & Security
Cloud Storage Services
Cloud SQL, Spanner, and Bigtable
Monitoring & Logging
DevOps & Automation
Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
Experience with Ansible and cloud automation.
Python and Unix Shell scripting skills.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Docker.
Experience building and managing Kubernetes-based environments.
Preferred Qualifications
CKA and/or CKAD certifications.
Experience with Anthos and Service Mesh.
Knowledge of Splunk and Spark on GKE.
ITIL certification or experience working within ITIL-based environments.
Soft Skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proven technical leadership capabilities.
Results-oriented with strong ownership and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with global teams across multiple time zones.
