I’m preparing a new YouTube upload and need an editor who can turn my raw footage into a tight, cinematic-style short film. The main thing I’m struggling with is creating fluid, engaging transitions that keep the pace lively without feeling gimmicky. If you’re comfortable weaving in seamless cuts, match moves, speed ramps, or other creative transition techniques, this job should fit you perfectly.
Footage is already organised and shot in 4K log; I’ll share everything via cloud once we start. Basic colour, audio and titles are in place, so you can focus on refining flow, adding signature transitions, and polishing the overall cinematic feel. You’re welcome to give the grade or sound a quick pass if you spot anything obvious, but transitions are the priority.
Deliverables
• Final 4K (and 1080p) master ready for YouTube upload
• Project file (Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve—whichever you cut in)
• Any custom LUTs or motion graphics used
I’d love to see one or two examples where your transition work elevated the storytelling in a short or vlog. Turnaround is flexible within a week once files are transferred. Let’s make this clip look like it belongs on the big screen, even though it’s headed for YouTube.
