I run a YouTube channel that publishes in-depth, cinematic documentaries and I have a new series ready for post-production. You will receive several hours of raw, multi-camera footage plus voice-over tracks and reference articles. Your task is to transform this material into a polished, story-driven episode that feels ready for Netflix but is optimised for YouTube’s audience retention.

The finished cut should flow like a feature film: dynamic pacing, purposeful B-roll placement, seamless transitions, tasteful colour grading and a cohesive narrative arc. I also need custom motion graphics and light animated sequences to illustrate data points, timelines and maps, so After Effects (or a comparable tool) proficiency is essential. Basic effects alone will not suffice—I’m relying on you to lift the visuals with engaging lower thirds, animated chapter cards and subtle compositing that never distracts from the story.

Audio needs the same level of care: clean dialogue, balanced ambient beds, cinematic music cues and smooth sound-design flourishes that accent key moments.

Deliverables
• One final 15–20 minute 4K master (H.264) ready for upload
• Separate stereo WAV of mixed audio
• Project file(s) with organised assets and layers
• Thumbnail-ready still frame (PNG)

I’ll provide a rough outline of the narrative beats, but you have creative freedom to propose pacing, graphics style and any archival inserts you think support the story. If this first episode works well, there’s a full slate of documentaries to follow.
