Cinematic Birthday Tribute Video

I want to surprise my best friend with a short film–style birthday video that feels more like a warm, emotional montage than a typical slideshow. The finished piece should run between five and ten minutes and lean heavily into a heartfelt tone, using a mix of photos, short phone-shot clips, and a few text overlays or quotes that I will supply.

I’ll provide all raw media in organized folders along with a rough order and any must-use quotes. I’m picturing gentle pacing, subtle cinematic transitions, and a soundtrack that builds the emotion without becoming cheesy. Colour correction, simple motion graphics for the text, and tasteful sound design are important so everything flows like a cohesive mini-movie.

Deliverables:
• One 5–10 min 1080p (or higher) final video in MP4
• A review draft for feedback before final delivery
• Project files (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci) for my archive

Please let me know your preferred editing suite and any guidelines on formatting the assets before I send them over.
