I’m looking for an experienced China-based sourcing and procurement professional with strong experience in commercial / contract furniture.
I founded and operated Argentina’s first coworking company for 17 years and am now building Hello Dedicated Managed Offices in Buenos Aires. Furniture and FF&E will be a recurring procurement requirement as we develop new offices.
I’ll be in China in early September 2026. We will spend approximately 2.5 days in Guangdong after arriving through Hong Kong, followed by several days in Shanghai for CIFF Shanghai and Furniture China.
I want to meet and work in person with a small number of sourcing professionals during the trip.
In Guangdong, the initial paid assignment would be approximately one full day. I would expect the sourcing professional to recommend and arrange visits to at least two relevant manufacturers, accompany us to the factories, help evaluate the suppliers and products, support technical and commercial discussions, and give me an independent assessment afterward.
In Shanghai, I may hire a sourcing professional for a paid half-day or full day at one of the furniture fairs to help identify and screen manufacturers, compare products and specifications, ask the right commercial questions, and determine which suppliers are worth pursuing.
Initial categories include:
• Commercial-grade ergonomic task chairs
• Commercial vinyl / SPC flooring
• Desks and workstations
• Acoustic products
• Office pods / phone booths
• Meeting and collaboration furniture
• Lounge / hospitality furniture
I am looking for buyer-side procurement judgment, not simply translation or a trading company.
Strong English and Mandarin are important. Experience with factory visits, supplier qualification, negotiation, quality control and commercial / contract furniture is strongly preferred.
If we work well together, this could develop into a long-term China-side sourcing and procurement relationship for future Hello office projects.
