We are building an engaging educational app for children and are looking for an experienced game developer to help us create fun, interactive, and age-appropriate mini-games.

The goal is to make learning feel like play. The games should be simple enough for children to understand independently, while still being visually appealing, rewarding, and educational.

What You’ll Work On
Design and develop interactive educational mini-games for children.
Create simple, intuitive gameplay suitable for elementary-age kids.
Build game mechanics such as points, stars, rewards, levels, progress, and achievements.
Develop smooth animations, interactions, transitions, and feedback.
Make the games responsive for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Integrate game progress and results with our existing application/backend.
Optimize performance so games run smoothly on common devices.
Work closely with us to refine gameplay based on feedback and testing.
Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who has:

Proven experience developing games for children or educational products.
A strong portfolio with playable game examples.
Experience with Unity, Godot, Phaser, React/TypeScript, or similar technologies.
Good understanding of UX/UI for young children.
Experience creating animations and engaging game interactions.
Strong attention to detail and clean development practices.
Ability to work independently and communicate clearly.
Ability to turn ideas or simple specifications into polished gameplay.

Experience with educational technology, gamification, or children's apps is a strong advantage.

Important

This is not simply a coding project. We want someone who can think about how a child experiences the game — whether the controls are intuitive, whether the feedback is fun, and whether the experience encourages the child to continue learning.

We will provide the product concept, requirements, and direction. You will be responsible for turning those ideas into polished, enjoyable game experiences.

To Apply

Please include:

A short introduction about yourself.
Your experience developing children's, educational, or casual games.
2–5 relevant portfolio examples or playable demos.
The game engine/frameworks you normally use.
Your estimated hourly rate or preferred project pricing.
Your availability and approximate weekly hours.

We prefer developers who are interested in a long-term collaboration, as we expect to build multiple educational games and features over time.

Please only apply if you have actual game development experience and can show previous work.
