My illustrated story, “The Adventures of Larry Luggage,” is already in print and listed with an ISBN; what it lacks is widespread reach. I’m looking for someone who understands the book-trade ecosystem and can put the title in front of buyers—both online and on store shelves.
Online, I need the listing polished on major retailers (Amazon KDP, Barnes & Noble Press, Apple Books, etc.), complete with metadata, keywords and an engaging product page that converts. Once the listing is fully optimized, I’d like you to set up and monitor targeted ads or promotional campaigns to spur early sales and reviews.
Offline, I want strategic placement in independent and chain bookstores. If you have relationships with wholesalers or know the procedure for submitting to Ingram, Baker & Taylor or similar, that experience will be invaluable. Guidance on consignment terms, sell-through expectations and pitch materials is also part of the brief.
Deliverables I expect:
• Fully optimized online retailer listings with screenshots for verification
• A 30-day ad/promo plan, including projected spend and KPIs
• A submission packet (sell sheet + pitch email) ready for bookstore and distributor outreach
• Weekly progress recap summarizing placements secured, ad metrics and next steps
The book is complete; the task is getting it discovered. If you’ve successfully launched children’s titles before and can back it up with data or case studies, let’s talk about how you’d replicate that success for Larry Luggage.
