Chennai-based Asset Verification Auditors Required

We are looking for 7–8 freelancers for a short-term Asset Verification Audit project in Chennai for a manufacturing-sector client.

Project details:
• Location: Chennai – On-site
• Start Date: 14 September 2026
• Duration: 30–40 working days
• Working Days: Monday to Saturday
• Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Compensation: ₹700 per working day per person
• Total expected earnings: ₹21,000–₹28,000 per person
• Approx. 70,000–90,000 assets to be verified
• Sundays and Government-declared holidays will be non-working days

Eligibility:
• CA Intermediate – Pursuing or Completed, or B.Com graduate
• Chennai-based candidates only
• Must be available for the complete project duration
• Must not be currently employed with another company
• Basic accounting, audit and Excel knowledge preferred
• Good attention to detail and accuracy required
• Comfortable with physical/on-site asset verification work

Responsibilities include physically verifying assets, matching them with asset records, recording asset details, identifying discrepancies, assisting with reconciliation, maintaining verification documentation, and reporting observations to the audit/project team.

Two laptops are required for the overall project team. Candidates with access to a laptop may mention this in their proposal.

This is a temporary, project-based assignment and not a permanent employment opportunity. Candidates should be able to commit to the complete assignment.
