We are looking for an experienced Data Analytics & Automation Developer to build a fully automated reporting solution that consolidates business data from multiple sources into a centralized Power BI dashboard.
Project Overview:

Our company currently relies on several disconnected systems including Excel reports, SQL databases, CRM exports, and online APIs. Reporting is manual, time-consuming, and prone to errors. We require an automated data pipeline that extracts, cleans, validates, and combines data into a single reporting database while providing executive-level Power BI dashboards with real-time
KPIs. The selected freelancer will be responsible for designing and implementing an end-to-end
automated analytics solution, including:

We are using the following databases
- Microsoft Excel files (multiple folders)
- SQL Server / MySQL database
- REST APIs (CRM and ERP)
- CSV exports
- SharePoint / OneDrive (optional)
You are expected to develop Python scripts that automatically:
- Import new files
- Clean and validate data
- Remove duplicates
- Standardize formats
- Merge datasets
- Handle missing values
- Generate error logs
- Perform scheduled incremental updates
The solution should require minimal manual intervention once deployed and for that freelancer would be expected to create an automated ETL pipeline that:

- Automatically detects new source files
- Transforms raw data into reporting tables
- Maintains historical records
- Generates audit logs
- Sends email notifications if failures occur
- Can be scheduled to run daily

Load processed data into a centralized SQL database designed for reporting and analytics and develop an interactive executive dashboard including:

- Sales Performance
- Revenue Trends
- Customer Analytics
- Product Performance
- Regional Analysis
- Monthly KPIs
- Inventory Summary
- Forecasting visuals
- Drill-through reports
- Dynamic filtering

The dashboard should refresh automatically after each ETL run. The complete workflow should run automatically using Python scheduling or workflow automation tools, requiring little to no manual effort.
