Cartoon Children’s Book Illustrations

This story spans 15 interior pages plus a front and back cover, all aimed at readers in the 4–7-year range. Every scene should feel playful and inviting yet grounded in a neutral, earthy palette rather than the usual bright primary colors. Think soft browns, muted greens, gentle oranges—tones that evoke nature and warmth while still keeping a true cartoon spirit. I already have a design of the main character.

Deliverables

Each illustration must be supplied as a high-resolution, print-ready file (300 dpi, CMYK) with safe margins and bleed; layered PSD or TIFF is ideal so text and minor elements can be adjusted later.

The sequence, rough thumbnails, and any text placement guidelines will be shared right after kickoff. Two rounds of reasonable revisions per piece are included so we can fine-tune expressions, backgrounds, or color balance without derailing momentum. Final approval of all pages and covers completes the project.

Consistent character proportions, clear facial emotions, and a cohesive color approach across every spread will be my acceptance criteria. If you enjoy crafting charming, earthy-toned cartoon worlds and can keep young readers engaged from cover to cover, this collaboration should be a great fit.
