I am wrapping up an environmental-engineering study that zeroes in on solid-waste management in Cambodia. To ground my findings in reliable, up-to-date field data, I need on-the-ground researchers who understand the local context and can dig into three interconnected topics:
• Waste collection and transportation practices in both urban and rural areas
• Current treatment and disposal methods—including landfill operation, open dumping, incineration, and any emerging technologies
• Proven or pilot waste-reduction and recycling strategies being used by municipalities, NGOs, and private firms
Here is what I hope you can deliver:
1. A concise literature review (Cambodian regulations, academic papers, government reports, NGO briefs).
2. Original field data—interviews, site photographs, or short survey results—covering at least two provinces.
3. A comparative analysis that highlights gaps, challenges, and practical improvement options.
4. A well-referenced report (≈25 pages, MS Word) plus raw data files (Excel/CSV).
If you already have access to local waste facilities, municipal offices, or community-based recycling projects, mention it; that first-hand access will strengthen the study. Fluency in Khmer is a must, and the ability to translate key documents into English will be a plus.
Timeline is flexible but I would like the first set of findings within three weeks so I can incorporate them into my thesis draft. Let’s collaborate to produce a solid, evidence-based picture of Cambodia’s solid-waste landscape.
