CAD Partner for Innovative Consumer Product

I’ve been working on an idea for a new consumer product for the last few months. I’ve got quite a long way with the idea but I’m going to be honest — I don’t really know what I’m doing when it comes to professional CAD!

I’ve been trying to teach myself Fusion 360 and OpenSCAD as I go along. but I’m finding that I’m very slow and I’m probably making things much harder for myself than they need to be. I would now like the help of someone who has the knowledge and know-how to help me along.

What I’m looking for isn’t just someone to make a quick model and disappear. I’d really like to find someone who could work with me over the project and help turn what I’ve got into a proper CAD model.

The product is being developed as a real physical product, so the model will eventually need to be suitable for 3D printing, testing and making changes as we learn from the prototypes.

I’m hoping to work in stages rather than trying to do everything at once.

I can provide the information, ideas, sketches and prototype work I’ve already done.
I’m funding this myself, so I don’t have a huge budget and I’m not looking for someone to do everything for free. I’m hoping we can agree a sensible way of working through the project in smaller stages.

I’m looking for someone who has experience with:

* Fusion 360
* Mechanical/product design
* 3D printing
* Designing functional parts
* Turning an idea into something that can actually be manufactured.
I do my my own 3D Bambu Labs A2L printer so am willing to printing once CAD is written.

I’m probably going to need quite a bit of guidance, so patience is definitely a requirement!
