Burning Man Portrait Photographer Needed

I will be attending this year’s Burning Man and want to come home with a cohesive set of portraits that document the experience rather than just random snapshots. The emphasis is on portrait work—both posed individual shots and larger group photos—captured against the stunning desert backdrop, art installations, and the general playa atmosphere. I am photographing my family.

We will map out a loose shot list each morning so you know which camps, art pieces, and time-sensitive events I want covered, but I also value your creative eye for locations, lighting, and spontaneous moments that fit the overall narrative. I’m counting on you to direct subjects comfortably, handle shifting light conditions, and keep gear safe from dust.

Deliverables
• Edited high-resolution digital files of every posed portrait and group photo (RAW files optional if you prefer)
• A curated folder of your top selects ready for social sharing
• Basic color grading and blemish retouching; no heavy manipulation needed
Time frame: sunset shoot 1- 2 hours

I’ll provide a bike pass, daily water, and a shade spot for quick gear maintenance. You should bring dust-sealed camera bodies or protective housing and be comfortable shooting in extreme heat.
