Build Scalable Shopify Marketplace

I’m putting together a full-featured, multi-vendor marketplace on Shopify and need a partner who can take it from idea to launch while keeping future growth in mind. The core of the project is technical—configuring vendor registration with a solid verification process, individual storefronts, and percentage-based split payments that deposit the right share to each vendor automatically.

Beyond the build, I also want a clear marketing engine ready on day one. That means laying the groundwork for organic search (onsite SEO, structured data, high-value landing pages), mapping out content that attracts vendors and shoppers alike, and setting up social media profiles plus ad accounts so we can move quickly on paid traffic once the platform is live.

Please include in your proposal:
• Your recommended Shopify apps or custom code approach for vendor verification and automated commissions
• How you’ll structure the payment workflow to keep transaction fees transparent
• A timeline that covers marketplace setup, QA, soft launch, and full public launch
• A phased marketing plan that blends content, social, and PPC, noting any early-stage quick wins vs. long-term SEO work
• An estimate of total cost, broken into milestones, with options for scaling features or ad spend as the customer base grows

I want everything documented so future enhancements—additional payment gateways, loyalty programs, new ad channels—can bolt on without a full rebuild. Looking forward to seeing how you would tackle both the technical and promotional sides of this project.
