Build Custom Streaming Website

I want to build a full-scale streaming website from the ground up. The platform has to deliver high-quality video and audio on both desktop and mobile browsers, handle adaptive bitrate streaming, and scale easily as the catalogue grows.

Essential user-facing features include secure registration and login, an intuitive search function, and the ability for visitors to save titles to a personal favourites list or watch-later queue. On the revenue side I plan to experiment with subscriptions, pay-per-view, and an ad-supported tier, so the payment layer needs to be modular enough to accommodate each model without major rework.

Behind the scenes I’ll need an admin dashboard where I can upload new content, set access rules, track user analytics, and manage any ad inventory. A clean, modern UI is important, but performance and reliability come first. I’m open to proven tools such as VideoJS, HLS/DASH, AWS MediaConvert and CloudFront, or any comparable stack you can justify.

Please propose a sensible milestone plan, estimated timeline, and examples of previous streaming work. The final hand-off should include the full source code in Git, deployment to my domain, and a brief walkthrough so I can maintain the site confidently.
