I need a robust, end-to-end streaming website built from scratch. The core requirement is a browser-based player capable of smooth, adaptive playback for both live and on-demand content. I’m open on the exact stack, but please be comfortable working with typical solutions such as HLS or DASH for delivery, a CDN for global reach, and a modern framework (React, Vue, Next, or similar) for the front end.
Although the precise catalogue—movies, shows, sports, music, or a mix—is still being finalised, the platform must be flexible enough to accommodate any of these formats without major re-engineering. I also want the codebase structured so that common extras—user registration, search, personalised recommendations, and multilingual UI—can be slotted in easily, whether now or in a later phase.
Key deliverables:
• Fully responsive web interface with integrated streaming player
• Back-end service that ingests, stores, and serves media securely
• Admin dashboard for content uploads, scheduling, and basic analytics
• Documentation covering architecture, deployment, and developer hand-off
• A staging environment for testing before we go live
Clean, maintainable code, clear communication, and realistic timelines are essential. If you have previous streaming projects in your portfolio, I’d love to see them and hear what tech choices you made and why.
