I’m ready to turn a detailed chess-app concept into a production-ready product for iOS and Android. The core of the job is to produce a smooth, modern experience that mirrors the polish of Chess.com while staying lightweight enough for mobile devices.

Here’s what I need you to deliver:

• A clean, responsive interface with full dark-mode support and an interactive chessboard that feels crisp on both phones and tablets.
• Chess logic wired up through a proven library such as chess.js, ensuring all standard rules, move validation, promotion flows, draw conditions, and PGN/FEN handling work flawlessly.
• Two main play styles on launch: local 2-player (pass-and-play) and a computer opponent offering Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulty. The AI doesn’t have to be world-class, but it should provide noticeably different challenge tiers.
• A configurable chess clock so users can pick anything from bullet to classical time controls, with proper flag detection and alerts.
• Real-time online multiplayer using WebSockets (or an equivalent low-latency solution) with matchmaking, basic Elo tracking, and in-game chat.
• Scalable code architecture that keeps the Flutter (or comparable full-stack) client snappy while leaving room for a future web build if we decide to extend.

Acceptance criteria
1. Opening the app shows a polished landing screen that allows choosing Local, Computer, or Online play within three taps.
2. Board interactions (drag or tap) feel instantly responsive at 60 fps on a mid-range device.
3. All rule edge cases—en passant, castling, threefold repetition, stalemate—are handled automatically and correctly.
4. Switching to dark mode updates every element without visual glitches.
5. Multiplayer latency stays under 150 ms round-trip during a five-minute game on a standard LTE connection.
6. A short TestFlight/Google Play internal track proves stable operation across at least three device sizes.

If your portfolio already shows real-time gaming or chess-related work, let’s dive straight into technical specifics and a milestone schedule. I’m looking to move quickly once the right developer is on board.
