ABOUT THE BRAND
Quran Dawn is a new online Quran & Tajweed academy for Muslim families in the
United Kingdom. Students are non-Arabic speakers — mostly parents enrolling
their children. The brand must feel warm, trustworthy, calm, and modern.

WHAT WE'RE COMMISSIONING
A full brand identity package (not just a logo):
1. Logo system
2. Signature color palette
3. Typography (bilingual: Latin + Arabic)
4. Mini brand guidelines document

CREATIVE DIRECTION
MINIMAL, ICONIC, MODERN. Think Apple, Nike, Elementor — one simple memorable
mark, not a traditional Islamic emblem. Beyond that, the creative concept is
fully yours — surprise us.

1) LOGO SYSTEM
- One single, simple, memorable symbol — recognizable at a glance
- Clean modern sans-serif wordmark "Quran Dawn"
- Process: present 2–3 distinct concept directions first; we pick one, then
you refine it
- Final files: symbol alone, symbol + wordmark lockups (horizontal & stacked),
monochrome (black & white) versions, favicon
- Functional requirements (not creative limits): must work in one solid color
and at 16px favicon size; flat design — no 3D, no shadows, no
gradient-dependent concepts

2) COLOR
- Propose a distinctive SIGNATURE COLOR we can own — a modern color people
will instantly associate with this brand alone (the way Elementor owns its
pink). Bring your rationale.
- Build a small supporting palette (2–3 secondary/neutral colors) around it
- Deliver exact specs: HEX, RGB, CMYK

3) TYPOGRAPHY
- A heading font + a body font (Latin), modern and highly readable
- A matching ARABIC typeface that pairs harmoniously with the Latin choice —
our content includes Quranic text and Arabic examples, so the bilingual
pairing must feel like one family
- Define weights and usage (headings / body / captions)

4) MINI BRAND GUIDELINES (PDF, ~3–5 pages)
- Logo usage rules: clear space, minimum sizes, placement, do's & don'ts
- Color specs and usage proportions
- Typography rules (both scripts)
- 2–3 applied examples: a social media post, a website header, a certificate
— so future designers can keep everything consistent

AVOID (very important)
- Mosque domes, minarets, ornate Arabic calligraphy, prayer beads
- Literal open mushaf with rays and crescent stacked together (the generic
Quran-academy look)
- The generic green/gold palette every Quran academy uses — we want to stand
apart from that market's visual clichés
- More than 2 primary colors
- Complex detail that dies at small sizes

DELIVERABLES SUMMARY
- 2–3 initial concept directions → refinement of chosen direction
- Full logo file set (AI/SVG source + PNG exports, all versions above)
- Color palette specs
- Font selections + licenses info (tell us if any font requires a paid license)
- Mini brand guidelines PDF
