Bosch MG1 ECU Feature Upgrade

I need an experienced firmware expert to dive into Bosch MG1 control units, reverse-engineer the codebase, and implement several motorsport-oriented functions. The core of the project is reliable map switching and true flex-fuel logic for performance tuning; everything else builds on that foundation.

Once those priorities are in place I also want launch control, anti-lag, flat-foot shifting, and user-adjustable crackles integrated cleanly into the stock strategy. I am after factory-grade stability, so any added feature must coexist with all OEM diagnostics, torque monitoring, and limp-home routines.

You are free to work in IDA, Ghidra, WinOLS, or any tool you prefer, as long as the final deliverable is a flashed MG1 binary (or patch file) with clear offsets and documentation that allows me to reproduce or adjust the work later. I can supply readouts from several MG1 variants plus bench hardware for validation; you handle the disassembly, code modification, checksum correction, and re-flash testing.

Deliverables:
• Fully tested MG1 binary with performance-tuned map switching and flex-fuel support
• Added launch control, anti-lag, flat-foot shifting, adjustable crackles, all toggleable through factory or CAN-based inputs
• Brief but complete technical report covering modified segments, address maps, and checksum methodology

I will bench-test first, then run road and dyno sessions; payment is tied to each milestone’s feature set working without DTCs or drivability issues.
