Boost Running Event Registrations

I’m gearing up for a large community running event and need someone who can actively engage people in person and convert interest into confirmed registrations. The objective is straightforward: grow participation among the general public through energetic, face-to-face conversations at spots with good foot traffic (think parks, shopping centres, local fairs, fitness expos—wherever everyday people gather).

You should be comfortable approaching strangers, explaining the benefits of joining the run, answering practical questions (distance options, charity tie-in, start times, etc.), and closing the sale on the spot—tablet, phone, or paper form. Clear, friendly communication and a genuine passion for fitness or community events will go a long way.

Deliverables
• Daily log of locations visited, number of approaches, and confirmed sign-ups
• End-of-campaign summary with total registrations and key observations that can inform future promotions

If you already have experience selling race entries, health club memberships, or similar lifestyle products, let me know—the learning curve will be minimal.
