I need a straightforward mobile application that runs on both iOS and Android and pairs over Bluetooth with a small motor-driven mechanism. Once connected, the app will send simple commands to spin the motor clockwise to enlarge a box and anticlockwise to shrink it.
I do not yet have a specific Bluetooth module chosen, so I will rely on your advice for readily available, budget-friendly hardware that is easy to source and integrates smoothly with the mobile stack you prefer (e.g., Core Bluetooth on iOS, Android Bluetooth LE, or a cross-platform layer such as Flutter’s bluetooth plugin).
The interface can stay minimal—think two large on-screen controls (increase / decrease) and a visual indicator confirming the motor’s current direction or stop state. Stability, low latency, and a clean pairing flow are more important than elaborate graphics.
Deliverables
• Source code for both platforms (native or cross-platform).
• A brief setup guide covering the recommended Bluetooth module, wiring to the motor driver, and steps to build/run the app.
• APK, IPA (or TestFlight build), and a quick demo video showing clockwise and anticlockwise movement triggered from the app.
If the above sounds clear, let me know your preferred framework and any additional questions about the motor specs so we can get started right away.
