Biography Research Assistant Needed

I’m developing a full–length biography of a historical figure and need an India-based assistant to streamline the research and citation work. The manuscript already has a rough structure; what I’m missing is a steady flow of well-documented facts, primary-source leads, and neatly formatted references.

Here’s what I need help with:
• Source gathering – Track down newspapers, letters, government gazettes, academic papers, and credible online archives that mention the subject.
• Surveys & outreach – Draft and send short questionnaires to local experts, librarians, or institutions; arrange brief phone or email interviews when possible.
• Fact verification – Cross-check dates, events, and quotes across multiple references to flag inconsistencies.
• Citation management – Enter every usable reference into Zotero (or similar) and export clean Chicago-style footnotes plus a running bibliography.
• Summaries – Produce concise, bullet-point digests of longer documents so I can spot relevant angles quickly.

All findings should be delivered in a shared Google Drive folder: PDF or image scans of the originals, a master spreadsheet of citations, and a weekly progress note highlighting newly uncovered material or pending outreach.

Fluency in English is essential, and familiarity with Indian archival systems, RTI requests, and academic databases (e.g., JSTOR, ProQuest, INFLIBNET) will make the job smoother.
