A comprehensive, PRISMA-compliant systematic review is needed to evaluate a medical diagnostic test. The core objective is to determine how well the test performs, synthesising evidence from peer-reviewed studies and pre-prints published to date. I will provide the exact clinical condition and test details after project kick-off; for now, plan on a standard diagnostic-accuracy review framework (PICO, QUADAS-2, summary of findings).

Scope of work
• Develop and register a protocol (PROSPERO) once the clinical question is finalised.
• Design and run reproducible search strategies across PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science and clinical-trial registries; manage references in EndNote or Zotero.
• Screen titles/abstracts and full texts in duplicate, documenting decisions in a PRISMA flow diagram.
• Extract study-level data, risk-of-bias assessments (QUADAS-2), sensitivity/specificity, likelihood ratios and any additional outcomes relevant to patient care.
• Conduct meta-analysis with RevMan, R (meta, mada) or Stata where heterogeneity permits; otherwise provide narrative synthesis with forest plots and SROC curves.
• Draft a manuscript-ready report including tables, figures, GRADE certainty ratings and clear clinical implications.

Acceptance criteria
1. Search strategy and protocol shared before screening begins.
2. 100 % double screening and data extraction tracked in a shared spreadsheet.
3. PRISMA checklist completed; all raw data and code supplied.
4. Final report meets journal standards for systematic reviews of diagnostic test accuracy.

Timeline and milestones can be agreed once the test and condition are disclosed.
