Barber Booking Mobile App

I want to give my clients a true “barber-on-demand” experience. The idea is simple: they open the app, pick a time, confirm the service, and their card is charged automatically—no double-booked slots, no headaches for anyone.

Core features I need built:
• Booking calendar with rock-solid conflict prevention (a single slot can never be reserved twice).
• Secure payment gateway integration so cards are debited at confirmation.
• Individual user profiles that store past appointments and preferred barbers.
• Automated reminders and push notifications ahead of every booking.
• Self-service cancellation options that respect a configurable cut-off window.
• Wait-list management so clients can jump into an opening the moment one appears.

I’m flexible on the tech stack as long as the final product runs smoothly on modern smartphones, is easy for me to update, and can scale as my client base grows.

Deliverables
1. Fully functioning mobile application (source code included).
2. Admin dashboard for managing barbers, services, pricing, and real-time calendar data.
3. Deployment to the respective app stores and a short hand-over session showing me how to operate everything.

Acceptance criteria
• Attempting to reserve an already-taken slot must fail gracefully every time.
• Successful card charges must appear instantly in the admin ledger.
• Push notifications fire on schedule and reflect any last-minute changes.
