I want to boost my B2B site’s rankings for very specific Google search terms. The priority is to outrank competitors on the service-related keywords our buyers type in, as well as on direct competitor-comparison queries. To make that happen, I need authoritative backlinks placed on two kinds of sites: respected publications in our own industry niche and well-known, high-authority business or news outlets.
Here’s how I picture the collaboration:
• Research & Outreach
‑ Identify pages on my site that can realistically climb for the target queries.
‑ Source suitable industry blogs, trade journals, and business media with strong metrics (DA/DR, traffic, topical relevance).
‑ Handle outreach, negotiate placements, and keep everything white-hat.
• Link Placement & Reporting
‑ Secure contextual do-follow links using anchors mapped to the chosen search terms.
‑ Provide a live tracker (spreadsheet or shared doc) showing URL, anchor text, DA/DR, publication date, and status.
‑ Replace any links that drop within 90 days.
Tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or Google Search Console are fine—use whatever lets you prove the links are moving the needle and share progress with me.
I’ll consider the job a success when I see:
1. A minimum of X live links (let’s agree on the number together) from the sites outlined above.
2. Early upward movement on the chosen keyword set in Search Console within the first update cycle.
If this sounds like your wheelhouse, tell me about comparable backlink campaigns you’ve run for B2B clients and the metrics you achieved.
