AX 2012 Financial Dashboards

I want to turn the raw data already sitting in our Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 environment into a set of interactive financial dashboards. The core view I am after must let me track revenue, expenses, cash-flow movements and overall profit-and-loss at a glance, with the ability to drill down to the underlying AX transactions whenever needed.

All data lives in AX today, so the job centres on connecting to those existing tables (or cubes if you prefer) and surfacing the numbers in an intuitive layout. Whether you choose SSRS, Power BI, or another front-end commonly paired with AX 2012 is up to you, as long as the result refreshes automatically and loads quickly for everyday use.

Acceptance criteria
• Dashboards render cleanly in a browser and on a 1080p monitor without additional licensing hurdles.
• Figures reconcile 100 % with the balances in AX (I will provide test scripts).
• Setup steps are documented well enough for my internal IT team to replicate in staging and production.
