I want a single, modern-looking website that does two things equally well: it highlights the cars my team restores and it sells the custom parts we fabricate through Shopify.
Design & feel
The overall style must be clean, modern and sleek – large photography, dark-on-light typography, smooth page transitions, and a layout that still looks great on mobiles and tablets.
Site structure
• Restoration Showcase – the heart of the site. Each build should have its own page with a hero image, spec list, high-resolution gallery and space for a write-up. I also need an at-a-glance index so visitors can browse all the car builds we have done.
• Shopify Store – fully integrated, not a separate sub-domain. Product pages, cart, checkout, inventory tracking and shipping setup all need to work out of the box.
Key features
• Easy in-house editing through a CMS (WordPress with a Shopify Buy Button app, Webflow + Shopify, or another sensible combo – I’m flexible on tools as long as editing stays simple).
• Fast load times, on-page SEO basics, and Google Analytics baked in.
• A reusable template so I can add future builds or new parts without touching code.
Acceptance criteria
1. “Car Builds” landing page lists every project with thumbnail, title and completion date.
2. A visitor can move from any build page straight to a related product in the store (and vice-versa).
3. End-to-end test purchase works with Stripe or PayPal in live mode.
4. All pages score 90+ on Google PageSpeed for both mobile and desktop.
Once the site is live, a quick hand-off call or short Loom video showing how to add a new build and a new product will wrap things up.
